Updates and fixes.
Every Konnate update, in plain words: what was added, what was fixed and what changed about permissions.
App updates
The Konnate tray app on each computer (version 0.3.x). Install the new version from the download page; your settings and sign-ins are kept.
Module updates
The tools for each product (version 0.1.x), plus the shared runtime. Konnate offers them under Update download beside each module; nothing else needs reinstalling.
FortiGate 0.1.37 · Runtime 0.1.37 · Bitdefender 0.1.36 · Salesforce 0.1.33 · Konnate 0.3.51
New
- FortiGates not in FortiGate Cloud: add a FortiGate by its own address (for example https://192.168.1.99) and Konnate signs in to it directly when you're on the same network. Link its IT Glue password, type a username and password, or leave both blank to use the customer's FortiGate entry in IT Glue.
- Bitdefender PHASR: see a customer's attack-surface rules, which users and computers they restrict, and the "Request access" requests raised from computers. You can then allow or deny a request after confirming it.
- Salesforce Work Orders: read a Work Order by its number or link.
Fixed
- Bitdefender: the GravityZone console stays signed in between uses, and the tray shows when its sign-in has expired.
Konnate 0.3.50
Changed
- Tray menu: Microsoft 365 no longer shows a tick or cross. It signs in to each customer automatically when it's used, so there's nothing to sign in to beforehand.
Runtime 0.1.32 · Konnate 0.3.49
New
- Company second brain: Konnate keeps a folder of your team's fixes (Documents\Konnate Brain). Your AI can search it before troubleshooting and save a playbook after solving something tricky: the problem, the cause, the fix and what didn't work. It stays on your computer, comes with every licence, and you can open the folder from the Konnate tray menu. You can turn it off there at any time, and sharing anonymised fixes with Konnate is off unless you choose to turn it on.
UniFi 0.1.31 · Runtime 0.1.30
New
- UniFi cloud: rename a device on a customer's console through unifi.ui.com, the same way a technician would in the UniFi app. A dry run checks the change without applying it. A browser window opens briefly while the change is made.
UniFi 0.1.29 · Zabbix 0.1.29
Fixed
- UniFi controller: Konnate keeps the controller signed in between requests. Before, two requests within 30 seconds failed with "Invalid2FAToken", because each one signed in again with a new 2FA code.
- UniFi controller: device lists show full device names and MAC addresses, so a device can be renamed by its MAC.
- Zabbix: adding a host or proxy no longer reports an error after Zabbix saved it and reloaded the page.
App 0.3.48 · Modules 0.1.28
New tools
- UniFi: rename a device (access point, switch or gateway) on a self-hosted UniFi controller.
- Zabbix: register a new active proxy, with a dry run that fills the form without saving.
Permissions
- UniFi can now be set to Read & write on the admin page. It stays read-only until you choose otherwise, and every change still needs the user's confirmation.
App 0.3.42 – 0.3.47 · Runtime 0.1.26 – 0.1.27 · UniFi 0.1.27
New
- More than one account per module. Add a second IT Glue, Zabbix or other account, or several UniFi sites. Each has its own name, settings and sign-in, and the AI can pick one by name.
- Module settings are a list. Settings shows every account or site with Edit and Remove; Add opens a short form with Save and Cancel.
- UniFi sites. Each site is UniFi cloud (unifi.ui.com, signed in through the browser) or your own controller. A controller signs in with a password from IT Glue or a username and password you type in (kept encrypted on the computer).
- Pick IT Glue passwords from a list. Choose… searches IT Glue and lists password names only; the password itself is never shown, to you or to the AI.
- The tray and main window show every account and site by name, each with its own status.
Fixed
- Windows were cut off at 125% and 150% display scaling. The main window and every settings window now size themselves to their text.
- Adding an account no longer throws away what you had just typed.
App 0.3.41 · FortiGate 0.1.25 · UniFi 0.1.25
New
- FortiGate routers: read firewall policies, interfaces, routes and the full configuration, and make confirmed configuration changes through FortiGate Cloud's Cloud Access. Router passwords come from IT Glue and never reach the AI.
- Self-hosted UniFi controller: list its sites, devices and connected clients.
Permissions
- FortiGate Cloud can be set to Read & write on the admin page.
App 0.3.40 · Runtime 0.1.24
New
- Bitdefender: start a quick or full scan, update the agent, and isolate or restore a computer. Each one is confirmed and logged.
Fixed
- The admin page never silently disables a permission choice, and it says why Read & write needs an access date.
App 0.3.39 · Runtime 0.1.23
Security
- Permissions now come only from the server-signed licence check. Editing a file on the computer can no longer turn on changes.
New
- The activity log groups each AI session together and marks risky commands.
