What each module can actually do

Each list below matches the actions currently exposed to AI. ScreenConnect, IT Glue and Salesforce are the main launch modules. Microsoft 365, Bitdefender and Zabbix remain beta while their setup and coverage are expanded.

ScreenConnect

Find, inspect and support Windows computers already managed in ScreenConnect. Konnate can also inspect and run CMD commands on its own Windows computer even when that computer has no ScreenConnect agent.

Useful cases

Check hostname, uptime, disk space, services or network settings

Remote: “Find WC008 at Wise and Co and report its free disk space.”
Local: “On the computer running Konnate, run hostname and whoami.”

Limits: this is command execution, not interactive remote desktop, chat, file transfer or backstage browsing. Remote commands run as SYSTEM and may queue if offline; local commands run immediately as the Windows user running the Konnate gateway. Portal read-only mode, the destructive-command denylist, confirmation and auditing apply to both. Machine and OS allowlists apply to remote ScreenConnect targets.

Useful cases

With writes enabled: “Update asset 12345 so Circuit reference is ABC-100.”

Limits: Konnate has no password-reveal action and does not expose IT Glue usernames or passwords. It does not currently delete records or provide unrestricted editing of every IT Glue object.

Useful cases

Summarise old or urgent cases before a service review
Add a technician's internal diagnostic note to the right ticket
Create a support case from a conversation and link it to an account

Try asking: “List the open cases for Acme and summarise the oldest one.”
With writes enabled: “Add this as an internal comment on case 001234: customer confirmed the router reboot fixed service.”

Limits: comments are internal only. The module does not send customer email, publish public comments, delete records, or provide general Salesforce administration.

Beta

Microsoft 365

Use a signed-in Exchange Online session to inspect the selected customer tenant and, when enabled, run a confirmed PowerShell action.

With writes enabled: “List shared mailboxes in the connected tenant.”
Or: “Set mailbox auditing on for user@example.com.”

Beta limits: the PowerShell action is unavailable while the module is read-only. It covers Exchange Online rather than every Microsoft 365 service. Setup needs the local ExchangeOnlineManagement module and an IT Glue customer selection. Dangerous and obfuscated commands are denied.

Beta limits: read-only. It cannot start scans, change policy, isolate endpoints or close incidents. GravityZone API-key setup is still under acceptance testing.

Beta limits: read-only. It cannot acknowledge events, change triggers, edit hosts or run remediation. Server URL and API compatibility are still under acceptance testing.

Customer policy

Write access is controlled separately for ScreenConnect, IT Glue, Salesforce and Microsoft 365. ScreenConnect also supports machine and OS limits.

Local sessions

Vendor sign-ins remain on the chosen computer and are protected for that Windows user.

Verified downloads

Signed packages and device-bound file receipts detect copying or tampering before tools start.

Audit trail

Konnate records allowed and denied tool decisions locally for later review.
